Free Range/Organic Meat in Vancouver

Slow Food

It’s one thing to eat organic at home but another when dining out. There are so many great affordable restaurants in Vancouver that I love but I’ve never felt good about the meat. Having grown up in a French bistro owned by my ‘natural foods’ loving mother, I’ve been exposed to slow food my whole life. I’m old enough now to value and buy organic food at the grocery store but always turn a subconscious blind eye when dining out. Major disconnect! I’m starting this list to champion those restaurants on board and also to see how many ‘good’ meat dining options we have here in Vancouver. Comment any spots you know of and I’ll stick them up here. (The photo above is a local free range leg of chicken from Point No Point restaurant on Vancouver Island.)
